Story
Providing Immediate Relief to Earthquake Victims
In the aftermath of the recent devastating earthquake, the need for immediate, life-sustaining support is critical. Our Emergency Food Assistance program is focused on providing warmth, nourishment, and a sense of care to those who have lost so much.

Our Mission: Warmth and Sustenance
Our dedicated teams are actively engaged in the hot meal distribution initiative, ensuring that victims and displaced families receive regular, nutritious food. For those who have lost their homes and access to basic necessities, a warm meal is more than just sustenance—it is a moment of stability and hope.
Key Focus of the Distribution Program:
- Hot & Nutritious Meals: We are preparing and distributing thousands of freshly cooked meals daily, prioritizing nutritional value to support the health and recovery of survivors, especially children and the elderly.
- Targeted Outreach: Our efforts focus on the hardest-hit and most inaccessible areas, including temporary shelters and evacuation centers where resources are scarce.
- Immediate Impact: By deploying quickly, we are able to address the immediate and urgent food needs in the critical days and weeks following the disaster.

Our mission began in Mazar-e-Sharif through Dapur OMAi, providing hot meals to vulnerable families while empowering Afghan women as local cooks. When tragedy struck Kunar, OMAi became the first Malaysian NGO on the ground — distributing food and relief supplies in partnership with Ehsas Welfare & Social Services Organization, the largest Afghan NGO. -
